Richie Havens is a fantastic guitarist, making extensive use of open tunings and an unconventional thumb-fretting style. In 1971 in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, John Lennon said about Richie, “He plays a pretty funky guitar”, and that’s just putting it lightly.

Fellow musicians have always referred to Rodgers as "The Voice". But Duke Fakir [THE FOUR TOPS] says, "Paul Rodgers is THE SOUL OF ROCK!"

Larry Adler is generally recognised as the best harmonica player of all time. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, into a Jewish family and graduated from the Baltimore City College high school. He taught himself harmonica (which he preferred to call a mouth-organ) and began playing professionally at the age of 14.

Kenny Jones is probably best remembered internationally as the drummer with The Who, replacing Keith Moon in 1979, Jones toured and recorded two albums with the band until in 1982 The Who officially broke-up, reuniting in 1985 for Live Aid and again for a one-off performance in 1988.

Edwin Starr is an American soul singer who made it big with “WAR” an anti-Vietnam protest song recorded on the Motown label in 1970. Born in Cleveland Ohio, Starr moved to Detroit in the late 1950s and began his career signed to Ric-Tic records, which was later absorbed by Motown.
